Daniela Torres Marco, MS, RDN is a pediatric nutritionist with years of experience and a passion for helping children and their families.

The Hague, Netherlands

Daniela has a Bachelors Degree in Nutrition (BS) from Loyola University Chicago (Summa Cum Laude,) and a Masters Degree in Nutrition from New York University. She is also a Registered Dietitian / Nutritionist with the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics based in the USA. She has over 10 years experience in pediatrics including critical care, genetic disorders, serious diseases, and a wide range of severity of illness and nutritional needs.

Daniela is a published author, co-authoring two books Texas Children's Hospital Guide to Fighting Fat, and the Pediatric Nutrition Care Manual (Pink Book) for Texas Children's Hospital.

Pediatric nutrition is a family affair. A family is a team, and that is her approach to her practice. Daniela has helped children and families with problems ranging from picky eaters and obesity to complex medical conditions. She is also a mother of three children and knows from experience that changing what a child eats is stressful. Living in a foreign country adds to that complexity, but with the right support a family can reach their nutritional goals.

Daniela's mission is to use her knowledge and passion for pediatric health and wellbeing to help children and families both near and far. Thrive and Grow is the result of that commitment.

In line with Daniela's not-for-profit philosophy, all income after costs are covered is donated to a charity that improves the life of children and women. This year's charity is Save the Children.
